SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE, BUT WE ARE TAKING A BREAK FROM DJING. OUR KIDS WILL BE OUT OF THE HOUSE THIS FALL AND INTO THE ADULT WORLD. WE WOULD LIKE TO SPEND AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE WITH THEM.
As of January 2021, if your event venue is out of our travel area (see map below) there will be a travel fee of $150 that will be due at the signing of the contract along with the $150 retaining fee. You will also be required to pay for our 2 night hotel stay.
This is not an unreasonable request. Many Djs and photographers require you to pay for hotel stay. Why two nights? We will be there for your rehearsal and or be setting up our equipment ahead of time so as not to be in the way when your guests are arriving. That will also be the time we do our sound and lighting checks. We want to insure everything is perfect for your special day.
Wedding and receptions can last anywhere from 6 to 14 hours. After such a long event, it is dangerous for us to be on the road heading back home. Your payment for the travel fee and hotel stay will help my family and I cover gas and other out of pocket expenses.
